In the Perm region are preparing for the launch of 3G + network of Rostelecom

As the telecommunications operator "Rostelecom", in Perm, the first test session of mobile data in its network 3G +. The company is actively building a network in the coming year it will be available to subscribers of mobile Internet access at speeds up to 21 Mbit / s.

As stated by the operator, it is building networks of third generation mobile communications in 27 regions of Russia. Total scheduled to install more than 8 thousand base stations. Suppliers of equipment and solutions for the 3G + network are Ericsson and Huawei.

3G + network in the Perm region is created in accordance with the principle of LTE Ready, allowing for minimal modifications to use it for rapid deployment of network 4G (LTE). Federal license to build a network of LTE «Rostelecom» has received in July 2012. In the future, will be created in the Kama multistandard network of benefits second (2G), third (3G) and fourth (4G) generation cellular network.

3G + network of "Rostelecom" in Perm region is scheduled to start commercial operation by the end of the first quarter of 2013. Only the first stage in the Perm region will install more than 400 base stations. "Rostelecom" is building a network using the latest versions 3G - technology HSPA + (it is often referred to as 3G +), which provides data transmission at higher speeds - up to 21 Mbit / s (expandable up to 42 Mbit / s).
